Happy New year from Spitting Pig Sussex!
The hectic party season is over for another year and the cold weather conditions have finally improved 🙂 All the snow and ice has melted away and hopefully won’t be returning foe a while. This is good news for us as it makes our travelling to events much easier and it also ensures that our outdoor hog roasts are much more bearable.ÂÂ
Its typical a typical January day here in Sussex today; dull, grey and lots of rain. However the Spitting Pig Sussex team are not going to let the weather spoil our great mood. We had a fantastic 2010 and we are looking forward to an even better 2011. We have lots of exciting events booked in already some starting this weekend.ÂÂ
We are also in the process of setting up special offers for this years main events, this is so we can offer our customers a special offer every month. For example in February we may have valentines day special offers on our catering services, or in April our clients can enjoy savings on Easter weekend events. So keep your eyes peeled for our fantastic offers throughout 2011.
I have a small event booked in for tonight in the village where I live so lots of the guests are friends and neighbours of mine. Its a community meeting being held at my local village hall and I am delighted to be serving the 40 attendees a spit roasted pig served with the old favourites apple sauce, stuffing, soft floured rolls and some crunchy crackling on the side. Its a simple hog roast menu that always goes down a treat. So better get going so I begin roasting the pig to perfection for my hungry customers!
