Hog Roast Hove – Fun with Fancy Dress and Hog Roasts at the British Engineerium Museum!

When Halloween comes we as a caterer always look forward to the unique and fun events that customers invite the Hog Roast Hove team to. Any event is special, but there is something added to an event when there is always a theme to it and a reason for guests to really have a bit of fun with how they arrive and dress!

So, then, when the Hog Roast Hove team received the call about a fancy dress party going on at the British Engineerium Museum in Brighton, we knew we had to be there! A unique and special venue for a unique and special night – it was assured to be a grand old time, and so for our part we had make sure that the dining matched up to the fun and style of the occasion!

Of course, with hog roasting you are always going to get that. A dish that in of itself could look like a dressed up decoration for a Halloween party, the hog roast is perfect for such an event. The host requested that we cooked and serve up our signature hog roast in its full form, meaning head remaining on for the full effect to be added to this spooky and fun affair at the Engineerium Museum. It is an option that we will always throw to customers because we do recognise that the sight of the full pig, face and all, can be off putting to some. But for a fancy dress party, it is just the thing needed to really add to the occasion!

Our chef Marco and the Hog Roast Hove team had a great time prepping and cooking all of our foods as guests arrived. It was a pleasure to get to see each costume and chat with guests about what they had come as for the party. Some incredible horror icons were on show as well as extremely creative costumes and ideas! It all made for an even better atmosphere to be serving our hog roast, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, and fries in. When it came to tastes, there were no tricks to be had for this event – only treats with Hog Roast Hove!
