Hog Roast Steyning – All-England Europa League Final with an All-English Roast

Hog Roast SteyningEnglish football has dominated the European competitions in football this season, culminating in an all-England final on Wednesday night in Bilbao for the Europa League. It was to be Manchester United vs Tottenham for the ultimate bragging rights of the season, and one of the finest pieces of silverware you can win in club football. A dramatic event indeed, which means it needed just as dramatic and stylish a dining menu to go along with it from Hog Roast Steyning!

We had many requests all across the UK for our dining to be a part of many a Europa Final watch party. Some came from Manchester, others in North London, and some mixed parties spread further afield. Our Hog Roast Steyning franchise teams all across the UK did our best to keep up and bring our catering to as many of these events as we could!

Hog Roast SteyningWe have done many a watch event over the years, especially when it comes to English teams in finals and semi-finals over the last few years of Euro and World Cup successes for the men’s and women’s national football teams. This one was a slightly different tone, however, as there was guaranteed jubilation for at least one half our events and guaranteed commiserations for the other. Still, however, you wouldn’t have known that pre-match while our Hog Roast Steyning chefs cooked up an excellent selection of match-time foods for both the white and red topped supporters to enjoy at out events. Even with the mixed match parties spirits were good and well natured between the supporters. Our hog roast was in the middle, a neutral, just there to make sure everyone was well fed and ready for at least 90 minutes of frantic action between Man Utd and Tottenham.

We have a few supporters in our own Hog Roast Steyning team, but they did their best to remain bipartisan while we served out our buffets. We wouldn’t want anything to spoil a delicious hog roast roll, a sausage bap, our burgers, chicken skewers, selection of fries, salad, slaw, and even a few pies for the ultimate matchday meal for the ultimate all-England final!

It was jubilation for title winners Tottenham, commiserations for Man Utd, but regardless of the final winner, it was an event worth celebrating in our eyes all the same!
