Matteo received a promotion in his teaching role at the end of the academic year and is soon going to be starting his first day in his new position. Previously, he worked as a classroom teacher specialising in mathematics, but he is now taking on the additional role of ‘head of mathematics’ for all KS2 children in the local area. This is a big change and will see a great increase in responsibility, but is sure to be incredibly rewarding and worthwhile. To celebrate the promotion, his wife hosted a celebratory party in the garden of their family home, along with catering from Hog Roast Clapham. For the menu, we were hired to serve a delicious BBQ to 30 guests. We knew that this menu would go down a treat and it was sure to be a great addition to the party.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Clapham team arrived in the morning to prepare our catering station. We began by grilling the main dishes, which included succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside homemade chips, sweet potato fries, corn cobettes, crunchy coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. Our menu included a wide variety of dishes for the guests to choose from, allowing everyone to create a delicious lunch from what we had to offer, which was perfect for the occasion!
