Engagement Party – Hog Roast Pulborough

Well, the weather outside is not yet too frightful but we are edging closer and closer to Christmas now. If you have yet to book your Christmassy work party, hog roast Pulborough at home or a spit roast wedding (or any other kind of event that tickles your fancy), then call us to find out more about our traditional festive menu. With a turkey roasted in front of you and your guests, all the trimmings that you’d normally expect served alongside, as well as mulled wine and mince pies, it’s sure to be a huge hit with your family, friends or workmates.

If you’d rather have a different kind of feast, like our fantastic hog roast Pulborough, or a different animal or bird, we can always cater to your requirements. Right now, we are also offering our winter warmer menu to customers, which is your choice of meat and veg on better quality disposable plates. It’s a popular option in the cooler months, and you can always add roast, baking or new potatoes to your meal if you prefer, as well as gravy (we make a mean homemade onion one).

For Tristan and Angela’s engagement party that we catered recently, in the gardens of a local hotel, they chose a hog roast Pulborough winter warmer with aubergines, courgettes, and onions all roasted in a tray underneath. As there would be a vegetarian guest, they also asked us to cook a feta cheese quiche to enjoy alongside the vegetables, and requested some side salads for all the guests, too.

Our team woke up on a dark and chilly morning to take our equipment to the hotel, as service would be around 12 and a hog takes a few hours to cook, depending on the size. This was a medium-sized pig, which would cook perfectly in around 5 hours. We set up the marquee tent, hog roasting machine, and serving table and got to work.

Several hours later and the meat was sizzling, the veggies and quiche were looking lovely and the freshly-prepared salads were colourful and inviting. While the couple were being toasted to their future together, we began preparing to serve lots of hungry guests with lots of our delightful food.
