Earlier this autumn, Hog Roast Cowfold was contacted by Kayla to arrange catering for her upcoming dinner party. She has recently moved into her dream house with her husband and wanted to host a dinner party to showcase her home now that it has been decorated and is finally complete. For the menu, we were asked to provide a meal for 15 guests to enjoy, starting with a delicious canapé course. Our team was happy to get involved with this event and it was sure to be a successful evening.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Cowfold team arrived at the private venue in the morning to prepare a variety of dishes. We began our menu by serving canapes as the guests arrived. The canapes included succulent duck breast, fresh salmon, and an Indian selection, allowing the guests to enjoy a great introduction to our versatile catering. Following this, we served our classic main course consisting of a slow-roasted hog and all of the trimmings. The sliced pork was accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, crispy crackling, homemade chips, and a selection of seasonal vegetables. This created a delicious and varied main meal with plenty to go around. The menu ended with an elegant dessert course, with the guests choosing between an individual cheesecake or profiteroles. Each dish was accompanied by English cream and fresh berries to ensure that it looked as good as it tasted!
