Hog Roast Eastbourne for a Clifftop Wedding Reception!

Here at Hog Roast Eastbourne we love the wide variety of locations we find ourselves in when we are catering for wedding receptions, both indoors and outdoors. This diversity is only possible because of our versatile approach and our ability to freshly prepare all of our wedding menus at the venue, wherever that may be. This is why Paula and Rob chose us to cater for their big day, they had their heart set on a dramatic clifftop venue in the grounds of holiday park, and we were only caterers they could find who could provide a stunning wedding feast at such a high altitude!

The Hog Roast Eastbourne team had no problem at all in accessing the holiday park via the meandering coastal road, because we have such a streamlined set up and only bring what is required. We certainly don’t believe in having anyone standing around twiddling their thumbs on our watch-each skilled member of our team always multi-tasks to the max to provide fantastic service that doesn’t require a huge entourage of people to achieve it!

Meat ServingThe imposing location was an excellent choice, with distant views out to sea and the surrounding coastline that seemed to go on indefinitely, and with the sun shining, Paula and Rob couldn’t have picked a better spot to celebrate their nuptials. They also couldn’t have picked a better catering company! After pausing briefly to admire the view, we set to work in the elegant marquee the couple had hired, which as well as looking great, also did a good job of sheltering us from the stiff sea breeze!

Whilst the couple and their 100 guests were busy with the wedding ceremony, we were busy ensuring everything was perfect for their arrival. The rather windswept bride looked radiant in her ivory lace dress and Rob scrubbed up pretty well too! The guests had ample time to drink in the amazing view whilst our waiting staff were on hand to provide them with our individually handmade canapes, with a delectable choice to suit all tastes, of pate en croute, smoked salmon and mushroom bouchees. We served the main course with equal gusto and precision after speeches were delivered and toasts were made. A murmur of approval rippled around the marquee as the guests savoured our slow-roasted pork and sirloin of beef, both served with all the trimmings, as requested. The bride and groom were delighted with the execution of their chosen menu and thanked Hog Roast Eastbourne for proving food that was as stunning as the scenery!
