When your birthday is close to a friend’s or family member’s, it can be lots of fun to host a joint birthday celebration for both of you. This means double the party, double the celebration, and double the fun! However you wish to celebrate, Hog Roast Southwater has a menu that is ideal for you!
Sarah and Luke are cousins that were born within 3 days of each other, so they have often celebrated their birthdays with a joint celebration. A joint celebration means that they can celebrate together with all of their friends and family, which is always double the fun! This February is their 21st birthday, so they wanted to do something extra special to mark the occasion. They planned to have a big party at a local function room, with plenty of drinks, dancing, and music from a live DJ. For the catering, Hog Roast Southwater was hired to provide a delicious buffet for the 150 guests, with a menu that would appeal to everyone. Our catering manager Adam discussed menu options with the clients, before it was decided that our Gourmet BBQ menu would be perfect for the occasion.
In preparation for this event, we planned to provide a variety of different main dishes, including succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, BBQ spare ribs, and vegetable and halloumi skewers. The main dishes will also be served with fresh bread rolls and wraps, as well as a gluten-free alternative. Alongside the mains, we will also be serving corn cobettes, crunchy coleslaw, sweet potato fries, homemade chips, and a variety of fresh salad dishes. This menu has plenty of options to choose from to ensure that there is something for every guest to enjoy!
