This week we were contacted by Jeoff, who was liaising with pub manager Ted, for an end of month work party. At their request, we had the order to put on a master buffet, with a slow roasted hog as the centre piece to give the buffet that magnificent finish.
Myself and 2 other chefs were to attend the event, so we got there early to determine the size of the venue and where we were going to set up the buffet. As soon as we were appointed a spot in the room, the chefs and I began to prepare, leaving plenty of time for us to set up the food and make it look well presented.
Ted was already there making sure the venue looked pristine for when the guests arrived, he couldn’t believe how delicious the buffet looked. When Joeff arrived, followed by about another 50 guests, they were all so eager to dig in to the buffet, a few people rubbing their hands impatiently. We got several comments about how immaculate the presentation was, and how divine it smelt. Everyone was coming up for seconds, even thirds; they just couldn’t get enough. The buffet was a tremendous success, with guests saying how happy they were to highly recommend such a great company, with the most delicious food and excellent service.
As the event was ending, it was time for us to pack away and head back. Jeoff, and Ted were delighted, mentioning that everything about the buffet was perfect, the food, the amount of it and the service provided. Again, another successful order for Hog Roast Horley, and we were glad that we could make all the customers so happy and more than satisfied.
