Feeding Time at the Zoo With Hog Roast Robertsbridge

When you’re planning a party or event, it can be fairly stressful, so letting capable professionals take over the reins of the food is a great idea, and that’s where Hog Roast Robertsbridge comes in. After many years of providing delicious dishes made from fresh, quality ingredients, and local where possible, like the meat that we source from trusted butchers and farmers, we’re renowned for our amazing, irresistible hog roasts that we cook from scratch, but we’re also known for much more too…

Hog Roast RobertsbridgeWe offer a great array of menus here at Hog Roast Robertsbridge, and you can mix and match between them if needed, and we can even help you to create your own to suit your special occasion. It’s not just hog roast mains that we can provide for you and your guests, which we serve either as tempting pigs in buns, together with our own recipe stuffing and apple sauce, or as part of a plated meal, with your choice of seasonal vegetables, potatoes and all the trimmings you know and love. In terms of alternative meaty mains, we can also cook spit-roasted chickens, turkeys, beef or lamb, a trio of marinated meats as part of our highly popular Southern Slow Roast Menu, or even our Loaded Fries, where we add meat and toppings to freshly-cooked chips.

Nevertheless, we also cater for special diets too, so if you’re inviting vegetarians, vegans or gluten-free guests, our expert chefs will whip up a suitable tasty dish on the day, and we can cater other diets if needed too – just let us know what you need. Additionally, our supplemental dishes may be just the ticket for your party, and whether you need starters, sides, desserts or canapés, we really do have something for everyone.

Yesterday afternoon, Hog Roast Robertsbridge catered a children’s birthday party with a zoo theme for thirty guests, where we made pigs in buns for most of the guests but also made halloumi and veg skewers for the vegetarians. After slow-roasting a pig for hours on end, the meat rested a short while before we carved away and once the skewers were perfectly done, it was feeding time at the zoo!
