Gemma and her family planned to host a party at their home in Sussex to mark the end of summer. For the party, they wanted to invite their neighbours, friends and family, and provide a tasty meal from Hog Roast Goring for everyone to enjoy. The family wanted to use their firepit to warm the evening, as well as music from their sound system and plenty of drinks for everyone to enjoy. For the menu, our catering manager Adam was hired to provide our Gourmet BBQ menu for the event, which would be ideal for the 70 guests to enjoy.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Goring team arrived at the family home in Sussex and set up our catering station in their back garden. We began by preparing the main dishes, which included juicy British beef burgers, succulent sausages, veggie sausages, marinated chicken kebabs, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and BBQ marinated kebabs. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, with a gluten-free alternative available upon request. For the side dishes, we served a variety of fresh salad dishes, crunchy coleslaw, corn cobettes, sweet potato fries, homemade chips, and seasonal vegetables. Our menu went down well with the guests and was a great addition to the evening. There was more than enough for everyone to enjoy and plenty for the guests to choose from.
