Hog Roast Hastings  – What’s Your New Year’s Resolution?

Now that the new year is upon us and everyone around us is making resolutions, one that you can make for yourself is to let others take some of the stress off your shoulders when you are planning a party or event, so that you can relax together with your guests and enjoy the food that you’re having served. When Hog Roast Hastings caters for you, this is already part and parcel of our service, and we even clear away at the end, leaving you with no washing up to do!

Hog Roast HastingsWhether you’re organising a private get-together at home, like an anniversary, birthday or christening, or a large party at an alternative place, like your wedding day at a boutique hotel or a corporate function at a specialist venue, our professionals at Hog Roast Hastings can help you to plan the menu of your dreams or you can choose one of our existing menus, as we have plenty to choose from. It could be a simple albeit tasty serving of our amazing pigs in buns that will make your party, or a delicious three-course meal preceded by handmade canapés and drinks served by waiters, or anything else that you can think of, as we provide much more than just hog and spit roasts if needed.

At this time of year, we also offer a winter warmer, with your choice of steaming hot meat, potatoes and vegetables, all smothered in our homemade gravy and accompanied by the trimmings that you’d expect. A hog roast winter warmer includes our homemade sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce, alongside our onion gravy, and for James’ birthday party at home yesterday, that was just what the doctor ordered.

For this GP’s 50th celebration, he wanted us to treat his guests to pork, crackling, new potatoes with herbs, carrots, parsnips and sprouts, so our Hog Roast Hastings chef and catering assistant arrived early in the afternoon in order to cook a feast that would be ready for 6pm.

Later in the day, after the hog had sizzled away for hours on end, the guests arrived to gorgeous smells and a sight for sore eyes, and we cracked on with serving until everyone had their fill of truly tasty food.
